Wapato 72nd Annual Harvest Festival and Parade Labor Day
What a fun day! After we walked the parade route, we had a table out to talk to folks. The gals sitting next door shared their shade with us-thank you. :) And we got to eat some yummy food. Almost most exciting of all was meeting Izzy the camel in the set-up area before the parade started. My wife got her first ever camel kiss!

I will be down at the Republican booth (north side of the Sundome) Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7-10pm to meet you folks and to answer any questions you may have concerning the coroner's office and my 11 years of experience in that office, the last 9 years as the coroner, serving you during the most heartbreaking hours, days weeks and months following the death of a loved one. Come by and let me meet you and chat about the duties of the coroner. If you can't make it by during those hours, please stop by the Republican booth and pick up flyers
that explain why I am the only qualified candidate for this extremely important and complex position.

Please tune in and hear me explain how the Coroners Office actually works, since I've been in the office 11 years, and have served as the coroner for 9 years. As a veteran of 11 years in the office, hear me explain why my law enforcement experience and investigation training is crucial for the office to run as it should. I will talk about how the various law enforcement investigators throughout the county, hospital staffs, forensic pathologists, forensic technicians, fire marshals, evidence labs already work closely together with me so that I can best determine the cause and manner of death.

Day of the Dead Parade in Wapato Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018
Lots of fun. It was the first parade put on by Wapato to celebrate this important Hispanic celebration. I see it growing into quite an event.
